Remembering Bob McElwaine
(1925-2010)
The American Century Theater mourns the loss of our
Resident Playwright and great friend, Robert M. (Bob)
McElwaine, who passed away in late January after a long
illness. Bob is best remembered by TACT fans as the
playwright behind the Helen Hayes-winning production of
Danny and Sylvia
(currently playing an extended run off-Broadway), as well
as our 2008 production of the Cuban Missile Crisis drama
The Titans. He will be greatly missed.
